City production complete; SCSO records still pending.
- City of Granite Falls: City Clerk Darla Wilkins states that Installment 6 was the sixth and final City installment and that all responsive records currently in the City’s possession have been produced.
- Records directed to SCSO: Attorney General registration material; audit, search and access logs; records identifying outside agencies that queried, searched or accessed Granite Falls ALPR data; and complaints, inquiries or comments held by SCSO.
- Separate SCSO production: An intentionally filed SCSO records request also seeks ALPR policies and procedures, access information, correspondence, and camera-status material.
- Next current estimate: SCSO has stated that the next installment is expected on or before Nov. 23, 2026.
Separately, Chief Tom Dalton initially treated a nine-question email asking for direct answers as a public-records request. I challenged that classification because I was asking questions rather than requesting identifiable records. Dalton later answered the questions directly.
